Siti Nurhaliza Biography
Dato’ Siti was born in Kampung Awah, in Temerloh. Then, she was raised in Kuala Lipis, Pahang, Dato’ Siti was known among Malaysians when she participated and won Bintang HMI, by RTM in 1995. That was the establishment of her career as a singer. Through the adversity and sacrifices made along the years of involvement in her singing career, it was paid off with the awards that she received.
Her triumph qualifies her name to be recorded twice in “The Malaysia Book of Records” for her success as The First Artist that made a Solo Concert at Royal Albert Hall, London. She also awarded as the Most Award Won Artist. Dato’ Siti also been honoured with Darjah Indera Mahkota Pahang (DIMP) award that carries the title of Dato’ presented by Sultan of Pahang.
Dato’ Siti has awarded more than 200 awards from both local and international through her 18 years of involvement in the music industry. She has also recorded more than 20 albums in various concepts like pop, traditional, duet; concert based and not to forget an English album, entitled Falling In Love that aims to promote Malaysia’s music industry globally.

Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza is not a multi talented performer, but also an entrepreneur who built 5 companies that she manages together with her family. She established Siti Nurhaliza Productions (M) Sdn Bhd label, Siti Nurhaliza Collections Sdn Bhd and Siti Nurhaliza Marketing Sdn Bhd, Siti Sound Sdn Bhd and SN Mobile Digital Sdn Bhd.




Despite of a successful career with numerous albums, hits and awards as well as recognition beyond local shores, Dato’ Siti still dreamt to have her own beauty brand. Sharing this outlook with her loving husband, Datuk Khalid Mohd Jiwa, or better known as Datuk K, who fully supported her dream. Siti and Datuk K roped in close friends and industry experts as business partners to take Siti’s dream to reality.
2008 marked the starts of a journey of enthusiasm and devotion to make SimplySiti a brand that truly epitomises the woman who inspired it.
From particular research and development, attractive design and packaging, to careful choice of natural ingredients, every single detail was subjected to accurate and rigorous standards of quality.
Conceptualised with the modern day challenges of women, SimplySiti was launched in March 2010 with its tagline “It used to be my secret, now it’s yours”, SimplySiti has built its position in the beauty market, as a beauty brand that promises ‘Simply Beautiful’ and ensures to fulfil the beauty needs of the Malaysian women.
